Founded by Carmen Mulea in 2002, the corporation is a small, woman-owned business. The firm's key personnel have over 30 years of experience in Consulting for restoration projects on existing, occupied buildings. Individuals within the firm currently hold Professional Engineering Licenses in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.

The firm has experience with many facets of restoration and waterproofing of exterior building envelopes and parking garages. Much of our work is centered around identifying and correcting problems related to water intrusion, corrosion, and deterioration. Some of our work also involves identifying design, material, and/or construction inadequacies and finding solutions to repair/replace and protect damaged or deteriorated building components.

We also have extensive experience in performing forensic evaluations and condition surveys on existing buildings and monitoring construction in progress. The projects undertaken by the firm vary in size and scope. We routinely provide full-service Consulting for building restoration projects (from project development through construction completion). We also routinely provide Consulting services to property  owners and managers to solve isolated structural or waterproofing concerns. At EBS, we provide personalized, responsive service on each and every project undertaken by the firm, regardless of the size and scope.
